AHA科学委员会主席和副主席对话会议亮点

　　编者按：在2014 AHA科学年会年会召开前，AHA科学委员会主席和副主席，即斯坦福大学Robert Harrington教授（注：即视频中的Bob Harrington）和布朗大学Alpert医学院Frank Selke教授对会议中将呈现的一些内容进行了简单概括。

　　Bob: Hi， I am Bob Harrington， from Stanford University， and I am the Chair of this year’s Committee Scientific Sessions Program of Scientific Sessions in Chicago， 2014.

　　Bob：大家好，我是来自斯坦福大学的Bob Harrington，是2014年在芝加哥召开的AHA科学年会的科学委员会主席。

　　Frank: And I am Frank Selke， is the vice chair of the committee， I am a professor of cardiothoracic surgery which was on Alpert Medical School.

　　Frank：我是Frank Selke，今年AHA科学委员会的副主席，是来自Alpert医学院心胸外科的教授。

　　Bob: So， Frank， A lot of work is going to put at this scientific session this year， what about some of the top line things you’re excited about?

　　Bob：Frank，今年的科学年会上将会展示很多内容，让你感到最兴奋的有哪些？

　　Frank: I think a lot number of excellent scientific presentations and plenary sessions， what I am favored is perspective on the care of the trainings received from surgery prospective， nursing prospective， the big science symposium of global health.

　　Frank：我认为今年年会上有大量优秀的科学展示和全体会议，我最喜欢的是从外科角度、护理角度对于各种培训的见解以及关于全球健康的科学议题。

　　Bob: Certainly the session we will hear about living with heart disease from patients’ perspective I think will be really interesting one， and you know the focus on big data and global congress， I think will be a lot fun. Because planning everything from discovery science around the big data genomics， of the population health， big clinical trials， big registry data， etc.

　　Bob：会议中也有来自心脏疾病患者的声音，这将非常令人感兴趣。另外，对于大数据和全球会议的关注也很有吸引力，因为这些来自大数据基因组学、人群健康、大型临床试验、大型注册数据等。

　　Frank: I also strong point American Heart Association Meeting Scientific Session that getting surgeon， cardiologist， epidemiologist， nurse， everybody together， then you talk about everything from basic science， translational science， population science.

　　Frank：我也想强调AHA年会将外科医生、心脏病学专家、流行病学专家、护士等聚集在一起，可以使大家聆听来自基础科学、转化医学、人群科学的大量前沿信息。

　　Bob: Yes， really the string sections will have everybody that discuss with the epidemiologist， to be able to learn what is the hottest and latest thing going on， with Robert J Lefkowitz from Duke who was the Nobel Prize Winner will give a Nobel lecture， and if you can give an presentation and address， anybody else do you especially look for this year?

　　Bob：大家可以与流行病学专家讨论，并获知哪些是最热门和最前沿的。获得诺贝尔奖的杜克大学Robert J Lefkowitz教授将在诺贝尔讲座上有重要发言。你在本届年会上最期待的是什么？

　　Frank: Well， a lot of late breaking clinical trials still come in， that is all one of the highpoints of the meeting.

　　Frank：今年仍会有大量最新临床试验公布，这也是大会的亮点之一。

　　Bob: Certainly over the past last few years， we had several dozens of late breaking clinical trials or clinical science special reports， and the early read of this year was no different， we get particular trials， they will be able to share with colleagues in Chicago.

　　Bob：当然，过去几年中，我们在AHA科学年会上公布了许多最新临床试验和临床专题报告。本届年会较以往没有太大差别，也有一些试验在芝加哥大会上公布并与同行分享。

　　Frank: Again one of the highpoint of this meeting is present to be given by Dr. Antman， looking for that.

　　Frank：Antman教授的演讲也是今年的亮点之一，我对此很期待。

　　Bob: Yes， we also remember we have a lot of international attendee in this meeting， and a friend colleague volunteer from Sweden will give a lecture， really trying to bring home to meeting the international perceptions is really important.

　　Bob：是的。有很多国际同道来参会，并进行学术发言，在大会上可获取大量可带回家的信息，这也显示了国际会议的重要性。

　　Frank: Yes. It gonna be a great meeting I want to be the best ever.

　　Frank：我认为这将是最好的会议。
